4. Learning about the Who, What, When, Where, & How of Tracking
5. Tracing &/or drawing MI Mammal Tracks for a take-home booklet
6. **Outdoors: Trying out your new tracking skills!
7. Short hike to a multi-ecosystem nature area, including time to play & explore outdoors.
Where: Haslett Public Library
When: Saturday 10 January 2015
Time: 1-4pm (we will leave for hike at about 3pm)
Bring: Hiking gear*
Also bring: at least one adult with a child

**If the weather is below 0 (including windchill), we will stay indoors for this meeting. We are preparing indoor-friendly versions of the same activities in this likely event. Included will be as much exercise as possible in our small room :-).
*‘Hiking gear’ can be as simple as old sneakers, shoes, or boots that you are comfortable walking 1-2 miles in, and that you don’t mind getting muddy or wet, if there is mud or water on the trails. PLEASE DRESS IN SNOW GEAR! Dress as if you will be sledding, including snow pants, boots, scarf, hat & mittens and you should be fine for the 1-2 mile hike. Finally, a water bottle for yourself and child(ren) is important even in winter.
