3. Indoors: Snack (provided by Foods for Living) & short presentation by Anthony Cognato, Professor & Director of the A.J. Cook Arthropod Research Collection
4. Learning about Spiders in Michigan - Safety & Surprising Facts
5. Spider-watching Citizen Science Opportunities
6. Outdoors: Hiking & Spider spotting @ Baker Woodlot on MSU Campus

Bring: Hiking gear*
Also bring: at least one adult with a child

*‘Hiking gear’ can be as simple as old sneakers, shoes, or boots that you are comfortable walking 1-2 miles in, and that you don’t mind getting muddy or wet, if there is mud or water on the trails.
