1. Gathering at the community room in Haslett Public Library @ 1pm
2. Outdoors: Running, Dancing, Orienteering Pollinator Games
3. Indoors: Snack (provided by Foods for Living) with book read-aloud & chat about child-inspired club project ideas
4. Indoors: Learning about Michigan's Pollinators
5. How to participate in Pollinator Citizen Science Projects
6. Outdoors: Spot a Pollinator Checklists
7. Outdoors: Short hike to Wildlife Lake Area to play, explore, & see which pollinators we might spot.
Where: Haslett Public Library
When: Saturday 25 July 2015
Time: 1-4pm (or so)
Bring: Hiking gear* & bug repellent!
Also bring: at least one adult with a child

*‘Hiking gear’ can be as simple as old sneakers, shoes, or boots that you are comfortable walking 1-2 miles in, and that you don’t mind getting muddy or wet, if there is mud or water on the trails. Finally, a water bottle for yourself and child(ren) is important. A small backpack or other easy-to-carry bag to hold the sunblock, bug repellent, hat, and water is very helpful.
