*‘Hiking gear’ can be as simple as old sneakers, shoes, or boots that you are comfortable walking 1-2 miles in, and that you don’t mind getting muddy or wet, if there is mud or water on the trails. PLEASE DRESS IN SNOW GEAR! Dress as if you will be sledding, including snow pants, boots, scarf, hat & mittens and you should be fine for the 1-2 mile hike. Finally, a water bottle for yourself and child(ren) is important even in winter.
**All activities in this club are free, except for occasional field trips. The zoo visit is $5 per person, including entrance to the zoo. However, we do have some scholarship funds available. Please email us if you need help with funding to attend the zoo.
